Sunshine Woods Bridal Shower and Wedding Reception

This couple had a special little story...growing up in the same neighbourhood, same church, same playground, only to meet as adults and fall madly in love. Never knowing they were each other's forever. We played up that story, and made it the centre of our design process. Her bestie threw her a travel bridal shower and we had fun with the theme as well. Here are just a couple pieces from the events.

Hoppy Easter

The lyrical chirping from nests nearby, early green tendrils stretching through the earth, eager to be warmed by the sun and the laughter and joy mingled with sweet sugar-spun dreams, charge the air on a lovely Spring day...all telltale signs of Easter. The Farmhouse was the host to a delighted flock of charming youngsters to honour our dear companion Mister Rabbit. Happy Spring Friends.

A Dolly & Me Event

EVERY LITTLE GIRL IS A DOLL SOMETIMES. Nostalgic paper dolls, vintage hankies, tulle and lace, dreamy posy pink hues and old school party hats created a charming girly fête for one enchanting little beauty. No doll is more glowingly adored, than this sweet pixie of mine. Happy Birthday Sweet Doll. Sugar and Spice and everything Nice, that's what little girls are made of....

SuperBoys and SuperHeros

SOMETIMES EVERY LITTLE BOY IS A SUPERHERO. Celebrating 6 years of SuperBoy, Superhero moments, and a little farmhouse celebration. Our birthday boys plucky force? Melting his mama's heart faster than a hummingbirds wings. Stops children, women and friendly foe at a single glance. Break my heart, little one...you are SUPER-LOVED.

SUPERHEROS FOR SUPERBOYS (or supergirls).

My eyes are now wide open to the previously shrouded mystery world of boys, thanks to my little man, the superhero of my heart. Now with an older sister who makes her mark on this household and our activities, he is just as easily wooed by a pixie doll or shabby chic bunny, but who can resist a charming relook at superheros with handmade retro appeal. One of a kind, unique interpretations of these benevolent fictional characters who companion our wee ones into otherworldly places of imagination. A world where they can champion their rival and discover their exceptional abilities.....haven't we always taught our children, you can be anything you put your heart and mind into, if you just believe. MISTER RABBIT RETURNS

Mister Rabbit packed his empty basket up long ago and headed for the hills to prepare for another year of sweet abundance, but this little celebration elf has been dragging her heels. The sunkissed days of summer have finally arrived and although Springs awakening is but a distant memory, it is one I revel in. I hope you do too. It was indeed a LOVELY day when the butterflies danced in nets, sweet chocolatey-egg goodness mingled with the ladybugs in early garden beds and besotted children marveled at the mere idea of one Mister Rabbit.
